Nature of Passenger Service & Competition
NATCO operates in the entire Northern Areas and
linking the Northern Areas with the rest of the Country.
Although the entire public requirement cannot be met from
within the limited resources, but with the available number of
vehicles NATCO has been able to keep the fare structure at the
reasonable level.

Truck Operation or Cargo Service
With 130 trucks fleet NATCO is providing cargo
services specially for the carriage of Civil Supply wheat to
Northern Areas and also providing for the essential services.

International Obligations
Being the Government organization NATCO is
operating passenger and cargo vehicles between Pakistan and
china in accordance with the protocol Agreement from 1986.
Keeping in consideration of the experience, NATCO was selected
from the First Ever Transit Trade Caravan between Pakistan,
China and Central Asian States in November 1996, which was
successfully completed. Trade between Pakistan and Central
Asian States has been decided to operate regularly from 1st
May 2001.
